Peter J Hosey.
Peter is a photographer based in Coventry UK who has been taking pictures
of wildflowers and garden flowers for over twenty years.
Peter initially started photographing flowers using film cameras
but over the years his interest in digital cameras grew and today all of Peters work is entirely digital.
The site has been running since November 2006 and was initially set up to help promote an awareness, through the medium of photography, to the
vast abundance of British wildflowers that can be found within Great Britain. The site is run on a “non-profit”
basis with all revenues being used to pay for costs associated with the running and updating of the site,
field trips, equipment and other costs and expenses. We have no external funding and are always operating on a shoe string.
All of our wild flower images have been taken without causing any damage or harm to any wild plants.
The plants have all been photographed “in-situ” where ever they found growing.
The flower images on the site represent only a small fraction of our total flower photo collection and is being constantly updated.
We have tried to vary the types of flower pictures to include both
artistic and botanical images in the hope of making the site useful to as wide a range of
interests as possible.
If your interest is commercial, we can
provide high quality, high resolution images for many different business requirements.
If you are looking for gifts, home or office decorations then why not
consider a fine art giclee print? All pictures featured in the site are available as
limited edition prints.
